Hello! I’m Samuel Royce, a Film & Media Production student at the University of Utah with a passion for creative storytelling and visual expression. With a solid foundation in film production and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Lightroom, Photoshop), I am committed to mastering the art of filmmaking.

Currently, I am gaining hands-on experience through two exciting internships:

• Video&Audio Lead Geekwave – Student Media (Jan 2025 – Present) In this role, I edit video content for various student media projects, working closely with a team of writers, producers, and other editors to create engaging content. I also assist in planning and executing video shoots, managing equipment setup, and handling logistics.
• Production Intern - Vanishing Angle (Jan 2025 – Present) Here, I assisted on set as a PA and Camera Intern, handling equipment, and maintaining smooth workflow. I also supported pre-production logistics including creating sides, call sheets, and other spreadsheets. I participate in a bi-weekly writers’ group to develop story structure, character arcs, and thematic cohesion

I am excited to apply my skills and experiences to new opportunities in the film industry, eager to contribute to creative projects and grow within this dynamic field.
